New designer cat furniture stacks up to lots of fun for your kitty

by Barbara Kohn

You’d be hard pressed to find a kitty who doesn’t love to climb in and out of a box. With that in mind, the folks at Cat House System LLC have come up with Catty Stacks. These new unique, durable, scratch-able cat houses provide your kitty with plenty of space to climb and hide and play or just curl up and take a cat nap.

Catty Stacks are made from super-strong, heavy-weight, double-walled cardboard, similar in strength to shipping boxes for huge, flat-screen TVs. The boxes clip together and can be moved as a single structure and are strong enough for multiple cats. Top and bottom transition holes are staggered, providing stable footing while your cat climbs up and down throughout the inside of the stacks.

Cat House System says that the materials used to make the Catty Stacks are selected for their recyclable, renewable, or sustainable properties and include 100 percent post-consumer cardboard and soy-based ink and felt made from 100 percent recycled plastic bottles. Catty Stacks are light – 2 pounds per box - and fold flat, reducing the carbon footprint of shipping. They are durable enough to be rotated and flipped several times, ensuring you get good mileage out of every box. Once they reach their end of life, Catty Stacks can be recycled

Catty Stacks come in a variety of colors so you can choose those that complement your own décor and they are configurable so you can easily rearrange them to keep your cat interested and stimulated. They also can be accessorized with add on toys and teasers, available from the company, to enhance your cat’s playtime.
