Meera Lester and
her husband Carlos Carvajal are Miami transplants who have recently
moved to a postage-stamp farmette east of San Francisco Bay. There, they
currently care for chickens, an orchard, and a French potage-style
garden. They are remodeling a 1947 cottage and clearing a portion of the
land to install honey bee hives and plant a small vineyard. All photos by Meera Lester unless otherwise noted. visit Meera's website by clicking here.
