Ikea lets 100 cats loose in London store

by Barbara Kohn

As part of a new television ad campaign, a London-based Ikea superstore came up with the idea to let 100 cats loose in its store and see what happens.

The idea behind the ‘Happy Inside’ ad project, which aired September 11, was that cats know better than anyone else what makes them happy and comfortable, according to Gather.com. By letting the cats loose, Ikea could see just where they went and what furniture they really liked.

Ikea taped the cats checking out the furniture and posted the video on YouTube. The cats making themselves ‘at home’ has become another YouTube sensation. If you haven’t see it yet, enjoy. The cats are.
